In a recent interview, Devin Booker revealed the true reason he is so good. It turns out that he doesn’t actually know why he’s so good at basketball.
The jared dudley is a basketball player for the Phoenix Suns. In an interview with ESPN, he went off on the true reason Devin Booker is so good.
Since he and Jared Dudley were teammates with the Phoenix Suns, Devin Booker has improved his game significantly. Not surprise, the outspoken upcoming free agent for the Los Angeles Lakers has a number of ideas about how Booker became an NBA great.
Dudley cited a number of contributing reasons to Booker’s progress during an interview on J.J. Redick’s “The Old Man and the Three” podcast on Monday, including his physical makeover, his connection with Kendall Jenner, and his better passing.
Dudley stated, “Booker was always super-talented: footwork-wise, work ethic, had it all in him, had the swagger.” “He improved so much as a gamer and as a film student. If you look at his physique today, you’ll see that he’s finally got some cuts and is taking his diet seriously… In some ways, I believe having a partner has helped him. He was able to remain more focused and spend less time out on the town.
Dudley said, “It was his passing skill that was awful.” “He was a good shooter. Do you recall Joakim Noah’s huge viral video of him being doubled over the summer?… No, you’re going to get doubled… For him to improve his passing and earn his first triple-double… I thought he’d be an All-Star player, but I believe he’s now taken the next step with his physique. He’s in incredible, incredible condition. He’s been hacked up. The first thing I noticed was his cheekbones when I looked at his face. I didn’t know whether he had surgery or dropped weight since he’s been with the Kardashians.”
During his two seasons with Dudley (2016-17), Booker averaged 3.5 assists per 36 minutes. Due to the arrival of Chris Paul, his assists per 36 decreased this season, but he increased them to 7.0 and 6.5 in 2018-9 and 2019-20, respectively.

Booker’s style has been likened to Lakers great Kobe Bryant, particularly during the Suns’ run to the NBA Finals, because to his midrange proficiency and the hard ethic that Dudley is referring to. During an appearance on ESPN’s “The Jump,” Booker, a Kobe protégé, refuted that idea.
“I understand it’s something that everyone is dealing with right now. That was not a comparison I made. I’ll simply say thank you for all he’s done for me as a mentor and for the guidance he’s given me. I attempt to absorb snippets of his mindset and attitude. But Kobe Bryant should never be compared to me.”

Dudley explained his unique importance to the Lakers locker room in the same conversation with Redick, stating that it appears in practice, the film room, and at the gambling table (“camaraderie”).

The Lakers must determine whether or not to re-sign Dudley, who is 36 years old. Due to his lack of playing time and the Lakers’ tight cap position, they must decide if Dudley’s locker room contributions are sufficient to warrant a place on the active roster (a la Udonis Haslem). Dudley may be retained by the Lakers in a non-playing capacity, such as as a special assistant coach or front office consultant.
During his time in Los Angeles, Dudley formed close bonds with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. When asked whether he intended to return to the Lakers during departure interviews, Dudley responded with a confident “1,000 percent.”
“a hundred percent They rely on me just as much as I rely on them. Let’s face it, dude.”
When asked whether he’ll come back and if the Lakers would take him, Jared Dudley said yes.
