In the Menu, the character we’ll employ in the Map will be highlighted with a blue flag (Left side of the screen). Press F to modify it. To access the menu, press Menu on your Xbox Controller. In the menu on the left side of the screen, the character will be identified with a blue flag. Press X to modify it.

Character in a combat situation

To be your fighting character, you may choose from a variety of options. It’s possible that it’s not the same as the display character. To access the menu, use ESC on your keyboard. To edit the party, press E. Move the mouse over the battle character you wish to employ. To confirm, press F. If the character has a pink flag on it, it has been completed properly. To access the menu, press the Menu button on the Xbox controller. To edit the party, press RB. With the D-pad, choose the character you wish to employ in battle, then press X to confirm. A pink flag should be placed on the figure as well.

In battle, switching characters

Because your fighting party only has four slots, the remaining characters will be in reserve. While in battle, you may change your character. Changing your fighting character will cause the game to restart at the conclusion of the battle. While in battle, hold ALT and then hit 1/2/3/4 on the keyboard (each character has a slot with a number). Menu may also be used to switch battle characters from reserve (even if the character is down). To access the menu, use ESC. Select Edit with a left-click. Click on the reserved character, which will glow blue, to modify it. While in battle, hold LB and then hit D-pad on the Xbox Controller (the order is the same in the D-pad direction). Menu may also be used to switch battle characters from reserve. Activate the menu. Select Edit with the D-pad and confirm with A. I’ll say it again: pick the reserved character with the D-pad, then press A, and it will light blue. To confirm, choose the character you wish to replace and click A.

A Few More Options

To confirm, right-click on your keyboard. You may right-click anyplace on the screen that is blank. F stands for “confirm leader.” In combat, you may also hot switch. You may choose a character to change to if you hold down the button to select/change target. This is LB + Dpad on Xbox. The default keys on a PC are alt + number keys. You may also accomplish this by pausing and pressing RB/LB on Xbox or Q/E on PC while paused. These only endure till the fight is over.
